Stall Boarding
For our four hooved friends who need support.
Stall Board
Some horses need extra support. Weather they need a stall for: medical reasons, rain, in order to rest, or just rider preference, we are here to make sure they are as comfortable as can be.
Premium Stalls
Our luxury XL open air box stalls are 14' X 12' with thick high quality wood. This ensures each stall gets air flow, while preventing injuries that lower quality wood can cause. Your equine pal will appreciate the larger stalls and are more likely to be able to fully relax. Our stalls have a unique ability to stay warm in winter and stay cool in summer.
Hay
Premium local farmed costal hay, Which we handpicked and inspect to ensure top notch quality. Offered 24/7, just how horses were designed, lowering their chances of contracting ulcers, decreasing stress, and provides mental stimulation.
Water
An element not focused on at most barns, we check multiple times through the day, and night, to ensure free access to clean sparkling water that even the owners want to drink! Stall board includes a premium automatic waterer, which ensures fresh running water at your horses demand.
Body Checks
Staff onsite 24/7 do a minimum of 3-4 checks during the day and 2 nightly walk throughs. Staff at DRT Ranch are trained to be able to do thorough body checks each horse for injury or disease. Anywhere from early colic symptoms to horse manure quality, every horse has an individualized profile, so as soon as something changes in their routine, owners and veterinarians are notified as soon as possible.
House Keeping
Stalls are cleaned twice daily to ensure the cleanest environment for your horse. We believe a horse cannot truly relax until their bedding is free of manure, urine, and dirty shavings. We bed down with a base layer of spongy soft clay dirt and bed down the stall with a thick layer of premiere low dust shavings.
Turn Out
Turnout is important for our equine friends mental and physical needs. Individualized turnout schedule is developed with staff to meet per horse and rider needs.
Feeding
Twice a day grain feeing (up to two scoops of feed). We feed a local 12/8 grain feed that meets equine daily macro and micro nutrient requirements.
